Ingredients

  • 3 or 4 ham stock cubes
  • 1/2 lb red lentils
  • 4 pints of water
  • 2 large leeks, cut into small dices
  • 3 large carrots, grated

Directions

    soak lentils for 30 mins and then drain

    add 4 pints of water to drained lentils and then bring to a boil
  3. 3
    add stock cubes, leeks and carrots and boil for 30-45 minutes.
