- 2 medium carrots, scraped and chopped
- 1 c. dry lentils
- 1/2 c. parsley, chopped
- 16 oz. can whole tomatoes (undrained), chopped
- 3 c. chicken broth
- 1/4 c. dry sherry
- 1/2 tsp. dried whole thyme
- 1/2 tsp. dried whole marjoram
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Combine all ingredients in a Dutch oven.

2Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes or until lentils are tender.
