Ingredients

  • 6 lb. sugar
  • 3 lb. white Karo
  • 1/2 lb. butter (no substitute)
  • 2 oz. paraffin
  • 1 pinch tartaric acid
  • 1 c. water
  • 4 sheets gelatin (from drugstore), dissolved in additional 1/3 c. water

Directions

    Mix together and add gelatin after mixture reaches rolling boil.

    Cook to 260°.

    Cool until it can be handled.

    Add flavoring and pull.

    (Leonard pulled it round a rod.)

    Lay it on tile cabinet top in long rolls.
