Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 34 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup raisins (or 1 cup of Parmesan and a handful of chives, or 1 cup of nuts... you get the idea)
  • 12 cup vegetable oil
  • 250 g sour cream (whole or fat-free, but guess which one works best!!!)
  • 1 egg

Directions

    Mix these wet ingredients together and then incorporate the dry.

    I use a round cake pan, but you could make them traditionally by the drop method, just check for golden-brownness before removing from a 375 degree oven.

    If using a cake pan, check after 20-25 minutes.
