  • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/4 cup skim milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups apple peeled, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon rind

Directions

    Combine flours, wheat germ, brown sugar, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl; make a well in the center of mixture.
