Light Strawberry Cake

- 1 box Pillsbury light cake mix (white)
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 egg whites, beaten
- 6 Tbsp. water
- 2 containers frozen sliced strawberries, drained (save juice)
Directions

1Make cake mix according to box directions.

2To make frosting, add 6 tablespoons of water to sugar and bring to a boil until sugar makes ball in glass of water.

3Add sugar liquid to beaten egg whites; beat until real firm.

4After cake is cool, poke holes in cake and pour some of juice from strawberries.

5Frost cake; then add sliced strawberries between middle layer and on top.

6Let cool for at least 1 hour in icebox before serving.
