- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 1/2 tablespoons flour
- salt and pepper, to taste
Directions

1pour milk into saucepan and bring to boiling point, remove and set aside.

2heat butter in separate saucepan, when hot add flour and mix well. cook for 2 minutes over low heat.

3incorporate milk into flour VERY slowly; stir constantly. season sauce well and continue cooking 10 minutes over low heat, mixing frequently.

4use in as required.
