  • 3/4 cup cognac
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 5 dashes of bitters (such at Peychaud's)
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 (750 milliliter) bottle Lillet Blanc white wine, chilled
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • Crushed ice
  • Garnish: fresh lavender sprigs

Directions

    Combine cognac, lemon juice, bitters, and honey in a large pitcher; stir until honey is dissolved. Add chilled wine and raspberries. Chill at least 4 hours or up to 1 day. Serve over crushed ice. Garnish, if desired.
