  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 3 sticks butter (not margarine)
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3 c. cake flour
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 6 eggs

    Have cheese, butter and eggs at room temperature.

    Cream the cream cheese, butter and sugar.

    Add eggs, one at a time.

    Add flour slowly to mixture.

    Scrape bowl down and then add vanilla while still beating.

    Pour into well-greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
