- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen Fordhook lima beans
- 8 slices diced bacon
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- dash of Worcestershire
Directions

1Cook limas in 1 1/2 cups boiling salted water 15 minutes. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup liquid.

2Fry bacon until about half cooked.

3Drain on paper towels.

4Keep 3 tablespoons fat.

5Saute onion and celery in bacon fat until soft.

6Toss together lima beans, onion, celery, cheese, pepper, Worcestershire and liquid from beans.

7Bake in lightly greased 2-quart casserole.

8Sprinkle bacon on top.

9Bake, uncovered, at 350° about 25 minutes or until browned.
