Lima Bean Bake

  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen small lima beans
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 1/2 can French fried onion rings

Directions

    Partially cook beans in boiling water; drain.

    Saute onion in butter until tender.

    Combine soup, milk, 1/2 cup cheese, onion and beans.

    Place in a lightly greased 8-inch casserole dish. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Remove from oven; top with remaining cheese and onion rings.

    Return to oven; bake for an additional 5 minutes.
