  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
  • 4 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 8 qt. popped corn

    Boil the first 4 ingredients together.

    After it comes to a boil, let boil for 1 minute.

    Turn off fire.

    Add vinegar and soda quickly; it will become light and foamy.

    Pour over popped corn. Now, put into a large cake or roast pan.

    Stir to coat evenly. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 250°; stir every 15 minutes.

    Store covered.
