Lime Jello Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 large can crushed pineapple, drained (reserve juice)
  • 1 pkg. lime Jell-O
  • 2 pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • cream
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Add water to reserved pineapple juice to measure 2 cups.

    Heat to boiling and pour over Jell-O to dissolve.

    Chill Jell-O until it begins to set.

    Add cream cheese (which has been softened with cream).

    Mix with rotary beater.

    Add celery, nuts and pineapple. Pour into molds and chill.

    Serves 8 to 10.
