- 2 c. lime
- 2 qt. cider vinegar
- 1 tsp. cloves (Mom used allspice instead)
- 8 c. sugar
- 3 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. celery seed
- 2 Tbsp. mixed spices

2Put pickles in mixture and set overnight.

3Next day, heat mixture and boil about 35 minutes.
