  • 7 lb. cucumbers
  • 2 c. lime
  • 2 gal. water
  • 1 1/2 qt. vinegar
  • 4 lb. sugar
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 box pickling spice, tied in a cloth

Directions

    Mix; pour over drained cucumbers.

    Cook slowly for 2 hours and can them.

    The pickles should look clear when done.

    (Do not boil hard.)
