- 7 lb. cucumbers, chunked
- 1 gal. water
- 1 c. pickling lime
- 1 qt. vinegar
- 1 qt. water
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. pickling spices
- 7 c. or 3 1/2 lb. sugar
Directions

1Soak the first 3 ingredients for 24 hours.

2Drain and rinse well, then cover with clear water for 1 hour.

3Drain.

4Mix remaining ingredients together.

5Pour mixture over chunked cucumbers and bring to a boil.

6Add a little green food coloring for looks.

7Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

8Remove from heat and pack in sterilized jars and seal.
