  • 4 whole Fresh Jalapeno Peppers
  • 1 can (28 Oz. Can) Best Quality (Such As Muir Glen Or Hunts) Whole Tomatoes Packed In Tomato Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Roughly Chopped Fresh Cilantro

Directions

    Wash jalapenos; cut in half lengthwise and remove seeds and top.

    Cut into large chunks.
  3. 3
    Add to the food processor with the tomatoes and juice.
  4. 4
    Process for around 10 seconds the first time, and a few seconds the next time if the tomatoes are not completely broken down.

    Add the cilantro and pulse once more for a few seconds.

    Pour into a bowl, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

    This keeps for a few days in the refrigerator.

    Note: if you are using a small processor, you might have to do this in two steps.

    First process the peppers with half the tomatoes and cilantro.

    Pour into a bowl, then process the rest of the tomatoes and stir them into the salsa.
