Ingredients
- 3 to 4 lb. pot roast
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 3 whole cloves
- 1 sliced onion
- 2 c. wine or water
- 1 bouillon cube
- 2 1/2 c. cubed carrots
- 3 or 4 large potatoes, cubed
Directions

1Brown the roast and put into a large cooking pot with lid. Add nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, onion, wine and bouillon.

2Cook 1 hour at 350°, then add carrots and potatoes.

3Cook 5 hours at 250°.
