  • 1 lb. dry linguine
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 6 c. (2 lb.) tiny tomatoes, cut in 1/2 and steamed or 2 cans tomatoes (not stewed)
  • 2 c. fresh basil or 1/4 c. dry
  • grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Cook linguine.

    Saute garlic, red pepper and onion in oil until lightly brown (5 minutes).

    Add tomatoes and basil.

    Stir gently for 2 minutes.

    Pour over noodles.

    Add cheese, salt and pepper to taste.
