Linguine Carbonara

Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. linguine
- 1 lb. bacon
- 2 eggs
- 4 Tbsp. sweet cream butter or margarine
- 1 pt. whipping cream
- 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 c. parsley flakes
- white pepper to taste (optional)
Directions

1Cut bacon into pieces and fry.

2Drain grease.

3Keep bacon warm.

4Prepare linguine according to package directions.

5In a saucepan, combine eggs, butter and whipping cream over low heat, stirring occasionally.

6Remove from heat after butter is fully melted and when thickened sauce coats spoon.

7Combine drained linguine, bacon and sauce and stir until thoroughly mixed.

8Add Parmesan cheese, parsley flakes and white pepper (optional).

9Stir until Parmesan cheese is completely melted and everything is thoroughly mixed.

10Serve immediately.

11Serves 4 to 6.
