Linguini White Clam Sauce

  • 3 to 4 cans chopped, cooked clams
  • 3 (6 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 lb. linguini
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. chopped garlic
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. butter or olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • pinch of Italian seasoning

Directions

    In large skillet, slightly brown garlic in oil or butter.

    Add liquid from clams and tomato sauce.

    Bring to a boil, add clams and season with salt and pinch of Italian seasoning.

    Add garlic to taste, let simmer 5 to 10 minutes.

    Cook linguini in boiling water until tender, but firm.

    Serve sauce over linguini.
