- 1 lb. filet mignon, cut into 6 slices
- butter or oil for browning
- 1 large onion, chopped
- mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 c. sherry or any good white wine
- 1 box Pepperidge Farm patty shells
Directions

1Saute filet slices in butter or oil unti lightly browned, cool. Saute onion and mushrooms in meat drippings.

2Add sherry and reduce slightly.

3Roll out patty shell until large enough to Cover meat. Place filet in the center of the pastry.

4Top with tablespoons of mushroom mixture.

5Cover meat.
-
6Seal pastry with water.

7Bake at 350° about 25 minutes.
