  • 1 12 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 12 cups lemon juice (about 5 to 8 lemons)
  • 3 cups ginger ale, chilled

Directions

    In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and water and cook until sugar is dissolved.

    Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.

    Add lemon juice and stir to blend.

    Store base mixture in tightly covered nonmetal container or jar in fridge until ready to use.

    For each serving, combine 1/2 cup chilled base mixture and 1/2 cup ginger ale in a tall glass.

    Add ice if desired.

    Seve immediately.
