Ingredients

  • 2 pound stew beef
  • 6 c. beef stock
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 c. liver, minced
  • 1 c. suet, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 med. onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • Flour

    Cook stew beef.

    Remove stew beef and set aside.

    In 6 c. of beef stock, add in 2 minced tomatoes and cook for 15 min.

    Mix all remaining ingredients and add in sufficient flour to make a medium stiff batter.

    Drop batter by tsp.

    into boiling broth.

    Let broil about 30 min.

    When nips are done, add in stew beef and serve.
