- 1 lb. calf liver
- several large soup bones
- onions
- celery
- salt and pepper to taste
- flour
- rice or noodles (optional)
Directions

1Cook soup bones to make broth.

2Add onions, celery, salt, pepper, etc. to taste.

3Grind liver in meat grinder.

4Add a little salt and pepper and enough flour to hold it together. Strain the soup broth. Return to pan and bring to boil.

5Drop by teaspoon little dumplings of the ground liver into the broth and cook until done.
