Ingredients

  • 1 (15 oz.) pkg. raisins
  • 1/2 c. bourbon
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped coarsely
  • 1 c. candied pineapple, chopped
  • 1 c. candied cherries, chopped

Directions

    Stir raisins and bourbon together and let stand for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 325°.

    Cream butter and gradually beat in brown sugar.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each egg.

    Mix next five ingredients; mix well.

    Add raisins in bourbon, then add remaining ingredients; mix well.

    Drop by teaspoon onto buttered cookie sheets.

    Bake about 15 minutes.

    Remove to cake racks to cool.
