  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. flour
  • shortening for frying

    Boil chicken pieces approximately 15 minutes.

    Remove from water; salt and pepper to taste.

    Melt shortening in skillet.

    Add flour to melted shortening, mixing well.
