- 1 lb. dry pinto beans
- 2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 pkg. Schilling chili mix
- 1 can tomato sauce
- garlic powder
- cumin
- ginger
Directions

1Soak beans overnight; drain.

2Put in crock-pot and cover with water.

3Cook until tender.

4Fry ground beef and onion until browned.

5Add sprinkling of garlic powder, cumin and small amount of ginger.

6Stir in chili mix and tomato sauce.
