Ingredients
- 3 lb. cubed lamb meat
- 4 cubed potatoes
- 6 sliced carrots
- 1 can pearl onions
- 2 Spanish onions
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2 c. red wine
- 3 Tbsp. garlic
- fresh basil
- 2 qt. beef stock
Directions

1Marinate lamb with Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and ground oregano.

2Brown lamb with marinade in oil.

3When browned on all sides mix flour and add wine and garlic.

4Add beef stock and vegetables (not pearl onions).

5Simmer for 1 hour.

6Add tomato paste for color and texture.

7Add salt and pepper and basil to taste and the pearl onions.

8Serve over rice.
