- 1 c. cherries (red sour pitted; reserve juice)
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. plain flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- pinch of salt
Directions

1Cream sugar and butter; add egg.

2Mix well, then add cherries and nuts.

3Add flour with salt and soda.

4Bake until brown at 325°.

5Cut in serving squares and serve with cherry sauce and whipped cream.
