  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • dash of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. heavy cream

Directions

    In medium size bowl, combine butter, sugar and salt; blend well.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla, flour, cream and pecans.

    Pour mixture into pie shell.

    Bake in moderate oven (375°) for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near the center comes out clean.

    Serve slightly warm with whipped cream.
