  • 3/4 cup milk, divided
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce

    Add 1/2 cup hot milk and stir until gelatin is dissolved.
