  • 1 c. ground carrots
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 c. walnuts
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Mix the first eight ingredients.

    Heat to boil and then simmer 5 minutes.

    Cool to warm and add flour, soda and salt.

    Mix well. Bake in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan 45 to 60 minutes at 325° or until done.
