- 1 bell pepper (red or green)
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 can Italian stewed tomatoes
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- 2 tsp. oregano
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. hot red pepper sauce
- 2 tsp. cider vinegar
- pepper to taste
Directions

1Chop pepper, onion and garlic very fine.

2Put tomatoes, chopped pepper, onion and garlic in a microwave covered dish. Microwave at 100° for 9 minutes.

3In a large frying pan, cook turkey, adding cumin, oregano, chili powder, pepper sauce and cider vinegar as you stir.

4Break up meat chunks as they cook. Add cooked vegetables to frying pan, mixing with meat mixture. Cover and simmer 5 to 10 minutes.

5Serve over cooked rice.
