Low-Fat Rice Pudding

  • 1 cup medium grain rice
  • 2 liters 1% low-fat milk
  • 23 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

Directions

    combine milk and rice in a large pot.

    turn on medium burner.

    cook for 1 hour.

    when its 2/3 to 3/4 done, add sugar.

    after it has cooked for 1 hour, add vanilla.

    while cooking, stir occasionally, especially towards the end.

    all done!

    note: i sprinkle a small amount of sugar into the milk and rice.
