- 1 (16 oz.) can baked beans
- 1/4 c. bourbon whiskey (not Scotch)
- 1 tsp. instant coffee
- 1 (8 oz.) can pineapple slices
- sprinkle of onion or garlic salt (ad lib)
Directions

1Pour contents of bean can into small mixing bowl.

2Dissolve instant coffee into the whiskey.

3Stir well and let marinate for several hours.

4Just before oven time, line a high sided casserole dish with pineapple slices.

5Pour in the beans.

6Bite into a couple of beans to try the flavor.

7Bourbon flavor and alcohol contents will be reduced in the oven.

8Bake at 325° for 50 minutes or more. Serves 2+.
