Ingredients
- 4 1/2 to 5 c. flour
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs (room temperature)
- melted butter
Directions

1Stir together 2 cups flour and yeast.

2In a saucepan, combine milk, water, oil and sugar; heat until warm (120° to 130°).

3Add liquid to flour and yeast mixture.

4Beat about 2 minutes on medium speed until smooth.

5Blend in eggs.

6Add 1 cup flour; beat 1 minute more.

7Stir in 1 1/2 to 2 cups flour, making a soft dough.

8Turn out onto a floured surface; knead until smooth.

9Return to bowl; cover.

10Let rest 20 minutes.

11Shape into rolls.

12Let rise until doubled (about 30 minutes).

13Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 24.
