- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 3 c. warm water
- 8 c. flour
Directions

1In large bowl, stir yeast, sugar and salt.

2Add shortening, warm water and flour.

3Stir, then let rise for 2 hours in warm place.

4After they rise double, place on floured surface, knead, then make into rolls.

5Put into pans.

6Let rise double again, about 2 hours.

7Place in oven at 400° until brown.

8Yield: 30 rolls.
