- macaroni
- 1 tsp. margarine, melted
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. dried mustard
- 3 c. grated sharp cheese
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Boil macaroni until tender and drain.

2Stir in melted margarine and beaten egg.

3Add cheese, leaving enough to sprinkle on top.

4Pour into buttered casserole dish.

5Mix mustard and salt with 1 teaspoon hot water; add milk, then pour mixture over casserole.

6Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

7Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes until custard is set and top is a crusty golden brown.
