Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 qt. tomato juice
  • 2 c. chopped onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. each: cumin, oregano and pepper
  • bay leaf
  • 1 (20 oz.) can kidney beans
  • 1 c. chopped sweet mixed pickles (relish)
  • 2 c. elbow macaroni (optional)

Directions

    Brown beef and drain.

    Put in crock-pot with all other ingredients, except macaroni.

    Cook on low 8 to 10 hours.

    Cook macaroni and add at the last 20 minutes or so before serving.
