Macaroni-Hawaiian Style

  • 1 lb. pkg. orzo (Rosemarie)
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 cans chunk pineapple
  • 2 cans Mandarin oranges
  • 1 medium bottle maraschino cherries
  • 9 oz. Cool Whip

Directions

    Drain pineapple and oranges; save juice.

    Cook macaroni in salt water; drain and rinse.

    Put in large covered bowl.

    Mix together sugar, flour, salt and eggs with reserved juice.

    Cook until thick.

    Pour hot sauce over macaroni.

    Cover and refrigerate overnight.

    When ready to serve, add fruit and Cool Whip.
