Macaroni Vegetable Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can red kidney beans
  • vinegar
  • 1 (8 oz.) package rotini
  • 1 (10 oz.) package frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can french-style green beans
  • 1 (2 oz.) jar sliced pimento
  • 1/2 c. green pepper, diced
  • 1 c. celery, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 c. salad dressing
  • 1 c. half and half
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard

    Drain kidney beans, place in small bowl, cover with vinegar and let set one hour.

    Drain.

    Cook rotini according to package directions.

    In large bowl, combine beans, rotini, and vegetables. Combine salad dressing, half and half, sugar and mustard; mix well.

    Pour over rotini mixture and mix lightly.

    Chill before serving.
