- 1 c. soft butter
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1/4 tsp. almond extract
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. toasted coconut
- 1/3 c. almonds, finely chopped
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Grease and flour loaf pan.

3Mix in large bowl.

4Cream butter and sugar.

5Add eggs, one at a time. Beat each addition.

6Add almond extract.

7Add flour to creamed mixture and beat thoroughly.

8Add coconut; pour into pan.

9Blend chopped almonds and sprinkle over top of loaf.

10Bake for 1 hour. Cool slightly and remove from pan.

11Cool and enjoy.
