  • 1-lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2-lbs. Velveeta, cut in 1 inch cubes
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 Tbsp. dry onion soup mix
  • 1/2 c. thick and chunky picante sauce
  • milk for consistency (less than 1/2 c.)
  • tortilla chips

Directions

    Brown ground beef and drain off the fat.

    In a crockpot combine the cooked ground beef, cheese, and canned soup.

    Cook until the cheese is melted, stirring occasionally.

    Add the dry onion mix and picante sauce.

    Mix thoroughly.

    Add milk to desired consistency, but still relatively thick.

    Serve with tortilla chips.
