- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 (16 oz.) can peas, drained or 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, cooked and drained
- 1 (15 oz.) can mackerel or 1 (16 oz.) can pink salmon, drained, bones and skin removed and flaked
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- homemade noodles
- 2 oz. process American cheese, shredded (1/2 c.)
Directions

1Cook celery and onion in 2 tablespoons water, covered, until tender, 5 to 7 minutes.

2Combine with next 4 ingredients, 3/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.

3Turn into a 2-quart casserole. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

4Top with cheese.

5Bake 5 minutes.
