- 5 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. butter
- 2 pkg. yeast (dry)
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 2 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Sift dry ingredients in large bowl.

3Cut in butter until well blended.

4Add yeast and buttermilk. Mix thoroughly.

5Turn out on a floured surface and knead 20 to 30 times.

6Roll out and cut.

7Place on cookie sheet and let raise 10 minutes.

8Bake at 400° for 12 to 15 minutes.
