  • 1 c. water (boiling)
  • 1 c. 100% bran cereal
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 c. plain flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. All-Bran
  • 2 c. buttermilk

Directions

    Pour boiling water over 100% bran cereal and set aside.

    Cream margarine and sugar.

    Add eggs and mix well.

    Sift together flour, soda, salt and All-Bran.

    Add dry ingredients to the margarine mixture alternately with the buttermilk.

    Add 100% whole bran mixture last.
