- 3/4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. dry powder milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
Directions

1In an electric blender or food processor, put all ingredients. Process at high speed for 1 minute.

2Pour into a heavy saucepan and cook, stirring constantly for approximately 2 minutes or until mixture has thickened and is bubbly.

3Mixture foams up considerably but this recedes as it cooks.

4Return to blender and process for 1 minute at high speed.

5This last step is important to keep sour cream mix at a smooth consistency.

6May be used as regular sour cream in cooking.
