Magnesium Bath with Lavender

Ingredients

  • 1 cup magnesium sulphate (Epsom.salts)
  • 1/2 cup sodium bicarbonate (baking soda/bicarbonate of soda)
  • 6 dash lavender essential oil
  • 1 shower cap

Directions

    Drink a glass of cool water.

    Run a reasonably hot bath.

    Set a towel and a large fresh glass of water within reach beside the bath.

    Light a beautiful candle and switch off the main light.

    Add ingredients to bath and swish it all around.

    Set a timer (a watch or phone alarm...something gentle and pleasing)

    Get into the bath.

    Stay in the bath for 40 minutes (that's right, but you'll be so relaxed it'll fly by!)

    topping up the hot water as needed.

    Get out and wrap up in towels for a further 10-20 minutes at least (you will perspire throughout this process, but imagine all those toxins being eliminated)
