Make Ahead Canapes

Ingredients

  • 1 can condensed Cheddar cheese soup (10 3/4 or 11 oz. can)
  • 1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 lb. cooked ground ham
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
  • French bread, thinly sliced (loaf)
  • paprika

Directions

    In medium bowl, stir together soup, cheese and ham, garlic and parsley, until mixed well.

    Spread mixture on bread and place on baking sheets.

    Sprinkle with paprika.

    Freeze until firm.

    Wrap in foil or place frozen canapes in freezer bags for longer storage.

    Return to freezer.

    Remove from freezer; preheat oven to 375°.

    Cut bread into small squares.

    Bake frozen canapes 15 minutes or until golden brown.
